Etidal Arbach-L’Heureux is a multidisciplinary artist.
She
obtained a certificate in Visual Arts (Honor) from Algonquin College,
Ottawa, and a diploma in Visual Arts from the Ottawa School of
Art, Ottawa. She received a Canada Council Grant for the conception
and realization of a cooperative video production I have a
problem screened at SAW gallery, Ottawa. She taught visual
arts in Ottawa and Winnipeg. She also illustrated an educational
child’s book entitled My Mother’s Stories.
She conducted numerous art workshops, as an invited artist at
Winnipeg Art Gallery. As part of an exchange program with the
Manitoba Printmakers' Association and the Professional Association
of Fine Arts in Lower Bavaria, in June 2005, she was the artist
in residence at the Kulturmodell Bräugasse in Passau, Germany
supported by the BBK of Passau, Germany, the Manitoba Arts Council
and the Winnipeg Arts Council.

Arbach-L’Heureux has participated in several solo and group
exhibitions in Ottawa and Winnipeg. Etidal solo exhibition,
Connect #2 at the Kulturmodell Bräugasse In Passau,
Germany; is a follow up of her solo exhibition, Connect #1
being presented also in June 2005, at the Alliance Française
in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Her work can be found in public and private collections in Canada
and abroad.

Arbach-L'Heureux is member of the board of directors at L'Association
des groupes en arts visuels francophones (L'AGAVF), member of
the board of directors and president of the programming committee
at La Maison des artistes visuels francophones (MAVF).
